I am Kishan Hathiwala, a transdisciplinary designer blending business acumen with design expertise to craft impactful solutions for a better world. Inspired by Bruce Mau’s philosophy that "The fundamental idea of design is to make the world a better place," and armed with a background in Product and System Design from the National Institute of Design, India, I have worked across diverse domains such as healthcare, social innovation, finance, and sustainability.
 

I approach my projects with a multifaceted lens, firmly believing that "People need People" to overcome global challenges like climate change and access to healthcare. I see these human connections as the driving force behind positive change. My ability to take initiative while collaborating with diverse teams allows me to understand the dynamics of collective work, enhancing my effectiveness in co-creating and validating end-to-end service propositions.
 

Beyond my professional pursuits, I am a passionate barista and photographer, interests that fuel my creativity and keep me grounded. Whether collaborating with startups or established organizations, my goal remains constant: to drive positive change through innovative design solutions.
